I drive home.
My car is falling apart. I just finished my job at the community
college. I volunteer at the library. It doesn't pay a whole lot,
but I'm okay. I walk into my house. I want to move out of this
place, but I can't. Anyway, I live with my dad. I live with him,
because even though I work hard, I don't have a lot of money, so I
have no choice.My dad... well he's not the best dad out there. But
he hasn't done anything to hurt me, (yet) so I guess it's alright.
If you're wondering why I would think my dad is going to hurt me,
it's honestly because of his temper. He has a really bad temper and
he's gotten, well, violent, but he's never physically hurt me.
Mentally, yes. Physically, no.I walk up to my room. My room is a
mess. And I want to leave the place but I can't. Now, I know what
you're thinking. Yes, I'm over 18.

It's a tough
situation but I can't change it.Where's my mom, you ask? My mom
left the family awhile ago. I never heard back from her after my
16th birthday, which is also the last time I saw her. I don't know
what happened to her. I just hope she's not dead.Don't get me
wrong, I don't take shit from people. If I don't like what you're
doing, I will tell you about it right away. I've never been one of
the "good girls," if you know what I mean. But I'm not bad either.
At least I don't think I am.I lay down on my bed and look at the
ceiling. I close my eyes, and just breathe in and out. I'm slowly
feeling myself drift off to sleep, when there is a knock at my
door. I opened my eyes slowly, and got up off of my bed with a
groan.I walked to the door, opening it, revealing my dad, looking
more calm than
