Introduction While on Duty I received a call for a 67 year old female who had a temperature. As per Pilbery and Caroline, (2014) sample history and physical examination was followed in this instance. On examination, the patient was hot to the touch, and right upper quadrant was tender on palpation and abdomen was soft. The patient had dressings on her abdomen from the site of the surgery, but the appeared to be clean and did not have puss coming from
