Give an example of a problem statement and purpose statement that could be used to launch a study that you might be interested in undertaking pertaining to a fire and emergency services topic.

The Future in Fire Service
Prior to September 11, 2001, public safety agencies rarely took an active role in emergency management. Public agencies are now taking a more active role not just in emergencies, but in assigning personnel to office emergency management. Identify the issues or successes that have come from this shift. Has this this initiative worked? Is there more cohesiveness between intra-agencies? Why or why not?
