Description This course aims: • To provide an opportunity for student to complete a market development project • To allow students to apply in practice some of the theories that they have been taught. • To handle research and data in an appropriate fashion. • To encourage students to think as a manager does in the real world investigating a topic of interest to them. • To enhance the skill of project management. Outline Syllabus and Teaching and Learning Methods This module will contribute to the development of a wide range of skills such as: • Appreciate self-awareness and openness to ideas and business issues. • Communicate ideas effectively. • Write and present reports involving ideas, issues, data and analysis. • Personal skills, including time management and independent learning skills. • Enhanced study skills, including reading and note-taking Intended Learning Outcomes How assessed** On successful completion of the course students should be able to: 1.
