The book by Graff and Birkensten, They Say, I Say,(hereafter referred as “Graff”) is intended to learn structures for presenting ideas with readers as the point of the writing. Therefore, every week you’ll be assigned chapters to read and, following the reading, exercises to complete.

Read Chapter Six of Graff (pp 78-90).
Next, look at Exercise #1 on page 90. Follow the instructions of that question, making use of the templates he offers you on page 82 and page 89. Be sure to submit your paragraph here.
