It is highly dynamic, and so is themans ultimate concerns. Especially, man is concerned about his existence, food, and shelter.However, different from other living things, human beings have unique and deep concerns abouttheir spiritual being, including; social, cognitive, political, and aesthetic (Tillich, 2001). Thehuman concern, which has the ultimate urgency, demands total surrender and acceptance of thisconcern, and there is a promise of fulfilment even in a case where the supreme concern hasrejected all other concerns (Tillich, 2001). The unconditional demand for the ultimate concernwith the promise of ultimate fulfilment is what defines Faith.Genuine faith demands total surrender to the subject, which is of ultimate concern. Fromthe Christian perspective, Faith is having an ultimate and unconditional concern for God and hisnature, that is, what he represents; demands, threat, and fulfilment. Faith centres around thesatisfaction of individual needs with a threat of exclusion from such fulfillment. Faith is theunconditional sacrifice of personal conviction, genuine human relations and surrender to the lawsof the subject to which one has the ultimate concern for (Tillich (2001).
