Currently, social medial are available to everyone and are widely used, Do you believe that through social media we can cross those boundaries in the nurse-patient relationship?- you stated in your post that oncologists develop burn out from spending too much time with patients because of the bonds that are developed and the possibility of boundaries being crossed. What if there was limited time spent with a patient do you feel it would hinder these boundaries as well? As a trauma operating room nurses, there were many times I would have less than five minutes to develop trust and boundaries in a very stressful situation.
